South Jersey Butterfly Project
Cape May County, NJ
The vacant lot on the corner of Woodcock and 47 is now posted and the beginnings of construction is evident.
The 2 sulphurs I watched there are marked as sp because I did not go onto the lot.
The male Sulphur picture below I believe is a Clouded Sulphur.
1. In flight it was much more lemon yellow than the other 5 very obvious Orange Sulphurs
2. The dark overshadowing on the HY per Swift
3. Although the FY cell brightens it looks yellow to my eye.
[Helpful ID notes, Harvey, for our FOY clouded for 2019. jc]
