Riverwinds Scenic Trail
Gloucester County, NJ

Another visit to see what would turn up on this windy afternoon. Obs. made from 3 till 5:20. With the wind many individuals were missed today, mostly medium sized nymphalids. Diminished activity around the Hackberry trees compared to yesterday.Watched a pair of Coral Hairstreaks attempt to mate, but gusts of wind hampered their efforts. At least one Hairstreak got away from me while chasing the Painted Lady. My brief impression was a Banded Hairstreak. Even with the wind, Deer flies a nuisance.
