Riverwinds Scenic Trail
Gloucester County, NJ

Obs. made from 1:25-3:30, Sunny 87, & SW 15-17. My last visit here was on 6/23 when part of the trail was flooded. Much drier now. Tremendous open fields with Late flowering Thoroughwort attracting most butterflies. I will have to check my past records here as this may be the highest single visit species total that I have ever experienced at this location. Was surprised not to find a Snout as they have been hard to miss this year. Was of no surprise to miss Red-Banded Hairstreak as they have been incredibly scarce around here this year.
