Palmyra Cove Nature Park
Burlington County, NJ

Incidental sightings while birding in the park today. 6:45 am to 1:30 pm. Sleepy Orange put in a brief appearance in the gardens @1pm. Male Zabulon appeared very fresh. Cabbage White number is estimate. Spotted Lantern Fly was first detected in the park last summer. They continue this year. Ailanthus Tree removal is currently underway in the park.

[This is our first record ever of sleepy orange in Burlington County and Jim Springer's map (on North Jersey NABA's excellent website) also shows no previous record in BUR. A significant find! jc]
