Natural Lands Preserve at North Burden Hill road
Salem County, NJ
I was doing invasive work on the preserve today. The Sleepy Orange was a pleasant surprise. I planted Senna seeds two years ago but have not found any growing in the meadow yet.
[A significant find! This sets a new earliest-ever record for our log and suggests sleepy orange is now over-wintering in SAL (as well as at its known colony, ~15 miles away, at Dix WMA in CUM). jc]
