Jesse and Jack Connor

Our yard in Port Republic
Atlantic County, NJ

Common milkweed blooming abundantly, so we're hoping it will bring more butterflies to our yard. So far, like other gardens apparently, our garden has been looking great but not drawing as well as it should.

At least the non-lep milkweed specialists have been coming on schedule, including the oddly-patterned red milkweed beetle in photo.

  • Spicebush Swallowtail 2
  • Cabbage White 15
  • 'Summer' Spring Azure 1
  • American Snout 2
  • Red-spotted Purple 1
  • Silver-spotted Skipper 2
  • Dun Skipper 1
