Sighting for June 28, 2020

Jack Miller

my yard Petersburg
Cape May County, NJ

Butterflies are still scarce here and I am often seeing only one representative of a species. On Saturday, I had 7 species, almost all singles, that I did not have today. I saw my first black swallowtail here today, a ragged female; however, she must have been around for a while as I found cats on my parsley.
