South Jersey Butterfly Project
Nabb Road field
Cumberland County, NJ
Did a check on the area again. The new ownership has put up signage blocking access, but more importantly is that the fields have been tilled and planted. Corn and soy beans cover most of the former butterflying areas.
Some activity seen along the roadside, but no Checkered Whites. Sadly, the long-standing colony may now be gone.
[Thanks for the report, Steve. That is a sad turn. jc]
