Obs. made between 12:45 & 4 p.m. Sunny 58-62 with 16-25 mph west winds. Primary focus here was Falcate Orangetips. Found at least 5 males & 2 females. Very little nectaring observed. One male was hunkered down out of the wind. All individuals were restricted to a fairly limited part of the powerline cut. Usually they are more widely distributed along the trail & roads here.
