My backyard in Mickleton
Gloucester County, NJ
Only short trips outside due to the heat. Silver-spotted skipper was really enjoying the mountain mint (Pycnanthemum incana) in the meadow garden. The snowberry clearwing hummingbird moth was still coming to the Monarda fistulosa even though it is past its prime. A pair of Sachems were on anise hyssop. Saw a monarch twice in different parts of the yard but it could have been the same one.
