South Jersey Butterfly Project
my yard NABA #1151 & Monarch Waystation #8318
Cape May County, NJ
New butterflies for today Orange sulphur stopping by again. And the highlight of the day were the big numbers of monarchs that migrated though and stopped to nectar, mostly on the Lantana and asters. I would estimate that at least 100 monarchs were through the yard and I would believe the number much higher. There were a number of smaller roosts <10 per roost on the cherry tree at dusk. I am wondering how Cape May Point will be in the AM.
