Beth Polvino

my yard NABA #1151 & Monarch Waystation #8318
Cape May County, NJ

Found my first Hayhurst's Scallopwing caterpillar on Lamb Quarters today. I have looked many times in the past. (I was cutting back the lamb's quarters so that the new owners of my property aren't upset with it all throughout their yard since it was going to seed) Had a fun visit from Greg and Jeanine along with many members of their birding group. I was able to provide lots of butterflies for them to see as it was a slow birding day. Low estimated counts on the skippers.

[Another delightful find and superb day at Beth's Magic Garden. Visit soon, butterflyers, if you haven't already done so! jc]
