Sighting for November 15, 2022

This Monarch chrysalis was discovered on 10/26. On 11/15 at about 8:45, it began to eclose. I placed it on some salvia in the garden where it hung while its wings hardened. By 3:30 it had flown off. I hope it survived the 50 degree temperatures and rains last night.
