Tawny-edged Skipper: a female / The 37th butterfly species discovered in this garden, so far.

Black Swallowtail: only a couple males

Black Swallowtail: a female searching for egg laying places; Cloudless Sulphur: travelling rapidly north up the bike path

Pearl Crescent: nectaring on a Goldenrod sp., Blue Mistflower and a Eupatorium sp.; American Lady: nectaring on Groundsel and Blue Mistflower; Common Buckeye: buckeyes are building in the Cape May Area / nectaring on Blue Mistflower, a Eupatorium sp., Groundsel, a Goldenrod sp. and other plants; Common Checkered-Skipper: flying around the Dune System; Fiery Skipper: becoming common in the park; Sachem: nectaring on Blue Mistflower
