Lady sp.: likely a Painted Lady; Red Admiral: Red Admirals, Question Marks, American Ladies and Orange Sulphurs all migrating down Jake's Landing Road toward Rte. 47 / some kind of movement going on this day and I didn't go to a spot for recording this event / Even at the end of this road, my priority was looking for certain targetbirds.

Spicebush Swallowtail: fresh ones!; Red-banded Hairstreak: nectaring on Multi-flora Rose, Dewberry and Cherry Blossoms; Holly Azure: rags; Question Mark: all 'Summer Forms'; American Lady: mostly small and very faded; Red Admiral: 10 in the forest; Common Buckeye: first truely regular-sized one on the powerline this season (most likely a migrant)/ the rest have been runts until now and probably, they went throughthe metamorphic cycle at LTduring the mild winter and early spring and emerged as extra small butterflies; Viceroy: emerging daily now / two were nectaring on Dewberry; Little Wood-Satyr: came at late in the afternoon after it clouded over; Silver-spotted Skipper: nectaring on Dewberry; Juvenal's Duskywing: rags; Horace's Duskywing: a worn female; Sachem: conservative number!!!/ some nectaring on Dewberry /6 females
