Black Swallowtail: female in the grasp of crab spider; Giant Swallowtail: This bug w&ered & patrolled endlessly, never l&ing for even a second. I am frustrated & embarrased to say that I only have two or three very poor images.; Eastern Tailed-Blue: mostly around bush clover; American Snout: inbibing minerals from damp soil; Eastern Comma: at least 2 were winter form; Viceroy: likely more! The field next to the fenced in maint. bldg. was dripping with them.; Monarch: a female in the large milkweed patch, being very selective, but not observed ever laying any eggs.
