April 2015 Sightings

Azure, sp.: emergence pattern: all were contained in 4 20yd stretches over a 5 mile distance

Blueberry Azure: marginata; Eastern Comma: Have photos; Mourning Cloak: Have photos

Blueberry Azure: 6 marginata, 1 lucia, 2 only in flight

Found in a sunny spot out of the wind

Anglewing sp.: All in flight.

Blueberry Azure: no lucia in the 20 or so I checked

Blueberry Azure: 8 marginata, 1 lucia, 6 in flight,no i.d.; Eastern Comma: most in remarkable condition

Spring Azure: Everywhere on the dirt roads. The pics that Marilyn took showed the marginata form. That would be just a few though.; Eastern Comma: The two pics Marilyn took were of this species. Am assuming all were.; Mourning Cloak: Carpenter at the Rt. 47 end.

Blueberry Azure: 12 marginata, 2 lucia, 5 in flight,no i.d.
