Painted lady nectaring on limelight hydrangea. 2 new spicebush cats, 5 black swallowtail cats–one female released, 5 monarch cats.

14 species in the garden, including a mated monarch pair. 6 monarch cats found on C. Milkweed on the trail. V. frit checking out passion vine in the garden as we drove in, but I couldn't find evidence of eggs. All Zabulons were male except for two.

This was my first visit and it was a short one. This is a Nature Conservancy site being managed as "A haven for migrating birds, raptors, and pollinators like bumblebees and monarch butterflies."
