Tarkiln bogs
Cape May County, NJ

Walked the sedge bogs for a few hours in the middle of the day. All of the rain we had last week probably did some damage. I was expecting to see lots of Mulberrywings and the first of the Dions. No Mulberrywings and the two Dions that I saw were out of the bog and up on the old sand road. Water level was very high.

[We will take them, even out of usual habitat. Our log's first dions on 2021. Good work! jc]
